We believe an object can elevate both beholder and maker. In a world of mass-produced goods, we offer artisan-made home and apparel crafted in fair-trade environments from around the globe. We strive to live fully, slow down to enjoy life’s little luxuries, and choose everyday to create a world connecting maker, owner and earth.
Fairly-traded. Made in Peru by highly-skilled, independent Indigenous artisans, with whom we work directly.
The female makers of these ornaments collaborate with Poko on designing each ornament, and then once a prototype is finalized, the women start the production of hand-making each and every piece.
These makers carefully cut a synthetic felt base into shape, and then hand-embroider each ornament’s design with an alpaca blended yarn. Their artisanal work gives each of these women sustainable income sources for themselves and their families.

In fact, alpaca wool is one of the most ethical fibres available. Our partner farmers take great care in gently shearing the wool and releasing the animal back to roam freely. Alpaca fibre does not contain lanolin, which means alpaca does not require strong chemicals to clean it. Q: What is fair trade? To learn more about Fair Trade, click here.
