We’ve named this the Heirloom pillow because it is truly an artisanal work of art, designed to last for years to come. A best-selling Poko textile, we love the weight & handfeel of this weave.

The natural, multi-layered, thick crinkle style lends to a dreamy sensory experience, bringing a neutral design accent to the home. This is a heavyweight, lambswool-cotton blended Turkish textile with a classic striped detail. The Turkish artisans truly crafted something memorable with this one.

The colour and design combination makes this a stunning accent piece, or allows it to complement the design elements of your home. The Turkish cotton feels so soft and gentle on the skin, its shape offering that lumbar support we all deserve. We started with the best-selling Heirloom throw, and asked the artisans to craft this beauty.

We’ve seen it styled in boho and modern spaces, country homes & cottages. With its classic lines and subtle but soothing colour palette, mix & match with other pillows to add texture and artisanal quality in your space. Rest easy, be well.

Handmade in Turkey by

Turkish Textile Studio

There is a hum and percussive soundtrack at this studio, as the artisans transform their collection of high-quality threads into yards of loomed textile beauty. A small production facility in comparison to mass-produced facilities, we love learning and meeting their team halfway across the world as we work with them.

The POKO Difference

Artisan made

We travel off the beaten path to bring you independently made products by makers connected to their local communities and environments. We focus on long-term relationships with them. Their skills shine through in their small-scale operations, resulting in quality craftsmanship that’s often individually handmade.

Directly traded

Fair trade is one thing & ensures a high degree of confidence that the people, the materials & the environment are not exploited in the supply chain. Direct trade on top of that means the artisan-to-Poko-to-you chain is transparent and, well...direct.

Materials matter

We strive to choose materials that have a minimal impact on the environment, and that stand up to the test of time & use. This means working with materials that the artisans choose and have access to, in tandem with developing new products with sustainability & durability in mind.

Shop with heart. Enjoy with soul.

Shop to create the kind of world you want your kids to inherit.

To live richly, we want to surround ourselves not just with beautiful things, but possessions that have meaning and represent the kind of world we would like to help create.

Carbon neutral

To offset the carbon footprint of your order from production to processing to shipment, every purchase plants two trees to offset the CO2 emissions. We are constantly seeking new ways to innovate our sustainability practices - this is our social responsibility and commitment for the planet & all that grow on it.

Quality Customer Care

We are truly a tiny team over here in Poko land and every email, query or review helps us feel connected to our shared mission, and to you! We wouldn’t be here without you. From speedy shipping with flat rates, quick responses, and quality assurance - we take pride in the work we do. You’re a part of that - so, thank you!

Purpose purchase

Whether it's the socio-economic development of the artisans and their communities we work with (for example: interest-free microloans) or giveback products or campaigns; we believe that if we have a platform, it is way more fulfilling to use it for the good of our local and global neighbours.
