Oh how we love to flow wearing this beauty. This is an heirloom-quality, all-season essential wrap, with a medium length, and a versatile, cozy style suitable for a wide variety of bodies. Bonus - it’s reversible.
A good sweater should last. This one is a sweater, a scarf, a blanket, and a wrap. This ruana’s geometric and classy composition is an alpaca blend, made with pure Peruvian baby alpaca, one of the world’s silkiest, warmest, most luxurious, and sustainable fibres.
Made with Peruvian alpaca, a natural & technical fibre - one of the highest performing. Baby alpaca refers to the very first sheer of a newer alpaca, resulting in a supremely soft fleece. As such, it’s a very special fleece, as baby alpaca fibre is harvested just once in the alpaca’s life.
This is a stunning capsule/sustainable closet addition. Fairly traded, superiorly crafted, we know this ruana lasts for many years.
| Materials | 30% baby Peruvian alpaca, 70% microfibre |
| Measurements | One size fits most |

Bought for a friends birthday. She loved it.
Very soft, very warm. Will be great in fall
It is so soft and beautiful .
Feels great over my shoulders
A bonus that it is reversible
Thank you for leaving us such a kind review and a photo of your Ruana in action! Stunning! xo Tori
This is an heirloom ruana. It is a wonderful weight, it feels like a dream, and it’s reversible as well! Worth every penny!
Thanks so much, glad you like it!
I have had my eye on this for a while. It is a beautiful piece. I hesitated because I have very sensitive skin and can’t tolerate wool or merino wool at all. I didn’t know how I would do with alpaca. Well, I shouldn’t have worried! It is so soft with a beautiful weight to it. It doesn’t affect my skin at all. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. I can’t wait to pick up a few more alpaca products from Pokoloko!
Thank you for this wonderful review and feedback, Karen! ❤️❤️❤️
The POKO Difference
-
Artisan made
We travel off the beaten path to bring you independently made products by makers connected to their local communities and environments. We focus on long-term relationships with them. Their skills shine through in their small-scale operations, resulting in quality craftsmanship that’s often individually handmade.
-
Directly traded
Fair trade is one thing and ensures a high degree of confidence that the people, the materials and the environment are not exploited in the supply chain. Direct trade on top of that means the artisan-to-Poko-to-you chain is transparent and, well...direct.
-
Materials mater
We strive to choose materials that have a minimal impact on the environment, and that stand up to the test of time & use. This means working with materials that the artisans choose and have access to, in tandem with developing new products with sustainability & durability in mind.
Shop with heart. Enjoy with soul.
To live richly, we want to surround ourselves not just with beautiful things, but possessions that have meaning and represent the kind of world we would like to help create.
-
Carbon neutral
To offset the carbon footprint of your order from production to processing to shipment, every purchase plants two trees to offset the CO2 emissions. We are constantly seeking new ways to innovate our sustainability practices - this is our social responsibility and commitment for the planet & all that grow on it.
-
Quality customer care
We are truly a tiny team over here in Poko land and every email, query or review helps us feel connected to our shared mission, and to you! We wouldn’t be here without you. From speedy shipping with flat rates, quick responses, and quality assurance - we take pride in the work we do. You’re a part of that - so, thank you!

Purpose purchase
Whether it's the socio-economic development of the artisans and their communities we work with (for example: interest-free microloans) or giveback products or campaigns; we believe that if we have a platform, it is way more fulfilling to use it for the good of our local and global neighbours.
