Hi Rose! Thank you so much for your feedback. We have spoken directly via email as well, but I wanted to ensure I responded here also. I'm so sorry for your experience! I'm glad the towels are the right size and absorbency for your needs, and noted that you aren't satisfied with the natural puckering of the waffle weave. The reason for the puckering is because this waffle style has big, deep waffle 'pools' (pools is the word for the honeycomb indentations that make up a waffle weave), and so when washed and dried in a machine, the waffle's deep, dynamic weave tends to move and pull on the outside band around the border of the towel. The band is sturdy because it is made with a tightly-woven high thread count. The reason for the puckering is that the jumbo pools of the weave pull on the band as the towel's pools move during washing and drying. Some customers love this look, but I completely understand that it doesn't suit everyone's tastes. One thing you could try doing is hanging the waffle weave to dry instead of drying it in a machine, that tends to reduce the puckered look after washing. After washing the waffle towel in the washing machine, you can lay it flat, and pull on the sides to reshape the towel, and then hang or lay flat to dry. Noted on your request for a hanging tab! We're actually working on adding grosgrain ribbon tabs to some of our towels for Fall, so we will keep our focus on that given this feedback! Please let us know if you have any further questions, and thank you very much for your feedback, it's incredibly valuable to us. All the best, Chelsey
